The National Council of Structural Engineers Associations (NCSEA) has a Structural Engineering Engagement and Equity Committee. This committee has developed a document on how to start your own SE3 committee. Many of these suggestions are also applicable to starting your own WiSE group.

The Structural Engineers Association of Illinois (SEAOI) WiSE group provides a forum for networking in the context of educating their members. The group focuses on the unquantifiable aspect of networking for women in the structural engineering community. SEAOI's WiSE devised a mission to provide a setting for women to get to know one another, create a network, and form mentorship relationships.

The Structural Engineers Association of New York (SEAoNY)'s Diversity Committee mission is to advocate for inclusion and advancement of women and minorities in the structural engineering community, raise awareness about the challenges they face in the professional workplace, and propose solutions through worker-friendly, equitable policies. Their vision is a more diverse and inclusive community with better collaboration in the workplace and longer-term employee retention. The committee holds events and provide resources for our membership to support these goals.
